RALEIGH – Wake Radiology was a leading sponsor at this year’s annual Raleigh Roundup. The event, which benefits the American Cancer Society, was held Friday, November 9 at the Kerr Scott Building in Raleigh. This marked the 11th year of the roundup, which is hosted by the volunteers of the Red Sword Guild.

Wake Radiology was a Sheriff level sponsor, contributing $15,000 to help underwrite the fundraiser.

Evening activities were centered around a rodeo theme. Guests participated in live and silent auctions and casino-style gambling, dined on pork dishes prepared by regional chefs and presented by the North Carolina Pork Council, and were entertained by The Marshall Tucker Band. NC State University women’s basketball coach Kay Yow served as guest of honor.

Proceeds from the Raleigh Roundup support the local programs of the American Cancer Society.
